However, nowadays this source of power requires much space in airframe, so it's not able to set some stuff, electronics, such as autopilot or so on.. Hydrogen power is good for quite big planes. You can see the plane on the photo has about 1.5 - 2 metres wingspan, it's big and almost all inner space is used for power system.
This project is not mine, I saw it at the exhibition and just made a few photos and had a little talk with the developers. As far as I know, fuel cells are used.

Moreover, it's dangerous, much more then Lipo.
