This is my second easystar mount. Having cut half of the orignal mount away I have inserted two small rods into the body. I Then tested the epoxy with the cuttings and finally filled the gap using epoxy mixed with crushed chipboard. It looks nasty but once it's hard it will be sanded level and the outrunner mount next to it screwed down onto it in four places.
