Hi, John. No stability issues. I'm controlling pitch via CH6 but have left yaw and roll both in full-auto.
With the exception of using a 2-axis gimbal this guy has a nearly identical setup and his video his silky smooth. He also claims to have not done any stabilization in post. Worth a watch.
The only video that I've posted since I did the install is here -- I'm obviously maneuvering too quickly but it was the very time I flew with this setup.
I'm thinking of doing something similar. How is your stability with the gimbal being so far forward? Also, are you having any camera pan trouble because the gimbal 3rd axis isn't aligned with the drones yaw axis?

Finally got my new MC6500GoPro-BLG gimbal sorted out and it seems to be working great.
