Yes it's dangerous but with a thermal camera you can make the Job way easier. In this picture we were monitoring the installation of a new power line cable produced by 3M Company and the features of this cable are that it weighs 40% less, has better conductivity and last longer.
My dad is doing the same job like this--Power line inspector, i can understand how dangerous of it, with a FPV drone, that would help so much especially in the winter.
