  • Augmented flow and yaw vane stabilizers are a feature of the Aqua-6 which can land and take off on water. It was made to do a specific job that involves the monitoring of around a hundred vulture nests. The location of these nests are within a very dangerous cliff range, so access has to be done from the sea and a small boat.

  • It is quite possible that legislation could change with more accent on safety.

    Something like this....

    No open props.

No hard points outside of a protective soft hull. i.e. no exposed carbon gimbal parts, no motor arms/motors etc.

The technology is here right now to make MR's fly better and be less dangerous. To continue with no regard for the safety aspect will fuel the FAA/ CAA with what they need to keep you on the ground.

That was 5 years ago this one is a bit more advanced with it's 40x zoom function and new flight control algorithm that has independent yaw control. It will be molded in EPP foam/End grain balsa sandwich etc.  It has the advantage that if it comes down anywhere that it shouldn't then it wont harm anyone. Unlike ALL of the mechanical peewits out there made from metal. 3692762248?profile=original3692762769?profile=original

  • so ugly

  • This model has now been modified but will be available as a kit of parts in the next few months. The one seen here is carved from insulation foam and then covered with epoxy resin and a carbon /Kevlar skin.
  • Could the builder give some guidelines on the process for building a flight body like this ? Is it fibre glass or carbon fire or what ?

We need a tutorial on this kind of stuff please folks.
