HS-81 non metal gear has 2.6kg torque at 5v, is it enough torque ?
It takes lots of power to tilt the rotating prop. I saw your video too. You may think of replacing the controller board with that of UAVX.
I would be better if you can just open a new blog this tricopter design and post the CAD files there, lots of people including me would be interested to see and use the CAD files.

I've been flight testing this in between class work. Check out the video: http://www.diydrones.com/video/testing-the-tricopter
The servo is a HS-81 (non-MG) with a KDS Racing servo-saver attached inline with the torque shaft, which is supported by two 9x5x3mm bearings.
I designed the tricopter for folding, with the two front ESCs laying neatly inside of the body stack.
Is anyone interested in the CAD model?
Unremarkably great ! Hats off to you for such a great work.
Have you flight tested it, if yes then how was the performance ?, did you record some video ?
Which servo you are using ? It is suggested to use an aluminium clam to mount the servo in spite of nilon tie.
