This smartphone-sized pocket battery is being marketed for emergency starting of cars with flattery-battery-syndrome, but if the manufacturers specs are believable it would make a fantastic power pack for quads etc. More than twice the energy density of typical hobby-grade LiPos (typically <600kJ/kg) and with a good punch of the current to boot! (50C, allegedly!)
At only $99.99 ($69.99 for pre-sale purchase - see website) it's not bad value compared to the lower energy-density Panasonic NCR18650B cells.

would this work also? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15000mAh-FLOUREON-Jump-Starter-High-Capac...
The large alligator clips would weigh down the quad/plane a fair bit though :-)
Interesting product.
However it is still a LiPo battery and it would be impossible to change the physics to suddenly double the enegery density. Most likely they are exagerating their specifications and in real life won't have this capacity. As a reference other LiPo batteries at 6000mAh weight at least 450 grams. Their product weighs less than 200 grams. That is just impossible in my opinion.
Wait a minute, what? I mean......what? Did we just see a 7oz lipo start a car? What I want to know is how they charge this from a 5V USB charger.....
