  • They're watching you from high, which would then arrive and that next?
    Very controversial aesthetic concept.

    Oh, these artists. =)

"RedBallon" is a film about loneliness and a strange friendship, but in the final scene of this video character of RedBallon portrayed as a target for snarling predator. It is is very strange an allegory.

In addition, i just don't like it =)

less artsy more fartsy, if you ask me. Is this an underwear commercial?

    Sorry I couldn't resist!

Mating scene: We are trying to reduce vibrations!!!!

My horny little drone tried to hump my leg once, I still have the scars to prove it!

    Ok, I am finished now.

  • @Wolf - I believe the author was showing 3 alternatives outcomes to the civilian use of drones:

    1.  Drones,  turn/used against innocent people (Wolf scene)

    2.  Drones and people that support them are attack by others

         (Red balloon scene - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQhvgo62l74&t=29m17s)

    3. Seagulls -  accepted by all.

  • Seems like a bit of an attack on robots, particularly drones. Some fear mongering. Looks like the drone is being related to "the big bad wolf" in that the drone is something insidious, the same sort of insidiousness that"the big bad wolf" had. I'm still a little stumped by the "red ballon", not sure how white wolf with the blood stained mouth pouncing on the red balloon in place of the girl on the same beach with the drone is supposed to mean. If it means anything for that matter.

"seagulls"? I admit that at the moment I'm typing this, the move is making a limited amount of sense.

I understand though that drones are very temping when it come to spying and that maybe drones are being used to spy on more than just terrorists and and criminals, in context of the relation of humans to drones. At the same time this seems to be a very narrow-minded/short-sighted unfair view of this matter because once again its showing that "fear of the tool" rather than showing "fear of the intentions".

There is nothing wrong with the drones, just what people use them for.

  • Tropfest short film? topic was balloons this year.

  • @R_Lefebvre -- "Did I miss something?!"

No, I'm sure you didn't.  That was me being guilty of one thing I though about the video itself, just trying to be too clever.  I should know better than to try to be intellectual, but how would I know?  :-)

  • Nope. Mating with a drone is not what its cracked up to be, although I hear that the next ardupilot has a some improved algorithms in the romance department ;-)
  • Mating scene?  Did I miss something?!

  • The mating scene made me think of Rosemary's Baby, i.e. mating with the devil?  Just trying to figure it out.
