    If you don't like the GoPro, you may want to look at the Contour HD. Very similar in terms of technical stats and price, but a cylindrical form factor: http://www.amazon.com/ContourHD-1080p-Full-Helmet-Camera/dp/B002QGSYZ4

    I haven't tried it on my quad, so I can't vouch for that, but it's easy to use and takes nice videos on the ground.

    But I'm leaning toward the GoPro because the cubish form factor makes it easier to mount versus the Contour HD.

    I had thought of getting a GoPro for my Cularis, but I just absolutely HATE the CMOS blobby look...  Unfortunately there aren't many options short of >$1000 video cameras. 

     

    I had a Canon 1400IS that I broke before it ever made it on a plane (dropped from waist level while powered on, & broke the lens).  Since that thing couldn't survive a little spill, there's no way I'm putting one on an aircraft.

    no I just velcro it on the top without any stabilization

    Good video. Thanks for sharing. Is the Gopro on a fixed mount? Or do you have servos or some sort of stabilization mount?
