Hi there! Finally you can pre-order the ArduIMU V3 here.. You can find more info abut it in my last post here.
The final version of the board for full production is here, I'm expecting to start shipping them this Friday or Monday.
We are still working on documentation and giving the final cosmetic touches to the example code to have it ready before you have one in your hands and at the same time we are shipping samples to developers to do a full DCM integration.
From now on our new color will purple! All our new products will feature a Lilypad style look!
(Note: this is a stand-alone IMU, and is not designed to be a replacement for the "Oilpan" IMU shield of ArduPilot Mega.)

@stefan i thught same about new imu, however i notice sparkfun have just started to sell imu. so now i think apm and oilpan will stay and complete new all-in-one board might arrive :) it's going to be interesting to watch what happens.
Thanks Stefan!
@scott and japi . This board is the latest version of the IMU to be used with the original Ardupilot here -> http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot/wiki/ArduPilot?tm=6 or for DIY. It is not related to the APMega Piggyback IMU but i will not be surprised if Jordi unveils a new board for the APMega soon.
@scott, some how we both asked the same question at the same time. http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/arduimu-v3 .. an answer would be highly appreciated.
I would like very much to see what that Atmega328 on this IMU is doing. Where can I find the source?
@Chris, you seem wound up a bit tight :) Go with the flow :)
Next on my "get list". MPU-6000...awsome!
Hey guys, what about making us some small 3.5v SMD high view angle LED boards. Fingernail size board with just a few different color LEDs' that we can use for lighting applications that can easily run off of APM. Using 12v strip lighting is a little old school and inefficient. If I had a pick and place I would have made these a long time ago. Be to easy to wire with long I2C cable wire.
Keep the hardware coming! :)
Purchasing the hardwear was easy The architecture to the software is hard.
You guys need to relax with the price issue. Whats 18 dollars...Come on already , this is all open source hardware and software..What more do you want
