Hi there! Finally you can pre-order the ArduIMU V3 here.. You can find more info abut it in my last post here.
The final version of the board for full production is here, I'm expecting to start shipping them this Friday or Monday.
We are still working on documentation and giving the final cosmetic touches to the example code to have it ready before you have one in your hands and at the same time we are shipping samples to developers to do a full DCM integration.
From now on our new color will purple! All our new products will feature a Lilypad style look!
(Note: this is a stand-alone IMU, and is not designed to be a replacement for the "Oilpan" IMU shield of ArduPilot Mega.)

@ Logan
The problem with Razor is that we only programmed an example code. We never actually fully supported it. ArduIMU belongs to DIYDrones.com and the code is always supported.
Any idea when this will ship?
Also, Jordi or Chris, does this IMU provide a solid reading during single axis straight line acceleration? One of your previous efforts, the sparkfun Razor IMU was not able to produce a constant pitch or roll reading when the board was accelerating along the same axis. This is a basic requirement for a flight worthy IMU.
I think a quick video showing the output would be useful for the community.
What is the state of the code for the new version? Will we be utilizing the motion fusion to help keep the load off the atmega328?
I think it could be really nice if I2C is used for the sensor data(Prossessed data). This coupled to a breakout BMP085 pressure sensor could make for a truely small quad controller.
The addition of a airspeed sensor should be nice for ultra small glider/airplane control if it would be possible to attach the servos.
I know this board was not designed for it without the mux ect, but look at all the quads on the mini pro’s and nano’s...
Chris: Do you know if this is a direct replacement for the ArduIMUv2 when used with the Original ArduPilot? Or will modification/code changes be required on the older AP(l)? Thanks
Noah: No. It's totally different, as stated in the post.
Wait, is this going to to replace the current ArduPilot or is this something totally different?
Thank you CHRIS........
I hope so... Never mind the APM that i'm using on the copter, it just seems that those two AP boards really bug me... Would be nice to put them in a night flight plane or on the FPV plane for peace of mind.
Yusuf: As others have answered a number of times in this thread, no. This is a stand-alone IMU and is not intended to work with ArduPilot Mega.
is the ArduIMU-V3 fully compartible with the ArduPilot MEGA 2560 as its' IMU system?????????????????????????
