Arduino 1.0 release preview… if you want to check it out!

It is almost here I hope. The I2C looks to be working after you edit your code, or at least in my short test.

Does this mean the new arduinos are not far down the road?

yep, i believe that the arduino shop will shortly have some initial dev test boards. they have been in dev with arduino for a while. i think there has been a delay getting the cpus in quantity but it could simply have been time to pass beta stages.

I have attempted to compile some of the previous versions with the 1.0 and many will requires lots of recoding. However with this said, I believe this version is a step in the right direction.

Is there any plan to convert over some of the incompatible files in the Ardu* libraries? FastSerial had an issue with one line of a virtual function and then I believe the 406 library also had an issue with WProgram.h needing to be changed over to Arduino.h.
