Main changes:-Solved compatibility issue with Arduino IDE 14 and 15, (thanks very much Arduino Mega).-Z Sensor support (extremely recommended, otherwise you will fly strange).-An small Ground Station based in Labview to play with ;-)...And can be donwloaded from here. The problem with the Ground Station is that i can't compile it, but you can run it if you have Labview installed. Later i will release the EXE.It includes a better virtual horizon and displays Speed, Altitude, Climb rate, Heading, Bearing and show the aircraft position in real time using Google Earth. What you need:-Any radio modem (XBEE) running at 57600bps.-Labview 8.6 installed.-Run the file "groundtest.vi".-Select the port number, then click open and enjoy!(You can try it with the FTDI cable if you don't have radio modem).Note: This ground station is same I'm using right now to debug the new ArduPilot firmware 2.1.Ground Station download click here.[UPDATE: The Ground Station for Labview 8.5 please Click here]Be ready for the next release of ArduPilot firmware, the version 2.1, that will include:-Diagonal X Sensors.-Throttle Control-AirSpeed Sensor Support[Warning: You need Arduino 0015 or higher in order to use this firmware]

Graham. Yes, in all of them. You just use a Y-connector, as with RC.

Is there support for dual aileron servos in any of the ardupilot versions?

MPXV5004G, the shield is under development... You don't have to worry about it, and also includes 3.3volts and the connectors for the IRs..
  • Jordi, what AirSpeed Sensor will be supported ?

    Max,
Can you send me a detail picture of your hardware, just to have look... Now can you make an extra test for me, can you disable the Zsensor and tell what it does?
The Z sensor is connected in analog 2 right? Do not forget to include picture of your IR's and how they are connected please...

@jpace. Don't worry--you don't need Labview. As Jordi said, we're going to be distributing a stand-alone executable (it actually includes the Labview runtime engine). We just haven't the executable working yet, so this a preview version for people who already have Labview running.
  • I might be missing something. The base version of Labview is $1,299 (The Mac version is $2,600). Is there an academic or personal-use version that is less expensive?
  • Yeah Jordi I uploaded with 15 and same deal, I boot it up as normal and once it has gps lock I switch over to RTL/WP and it goes full up elevator and full rudder... when I move my hand over the sensors it still doesnt react :(
  • Labview so good client for Ardupilot?

No, you don't need to point down anymore. Is just to capture home position.
