We've addressed the stock issue (we're upgrading to the Atmega328 in a week or two) here.
  • Hello All.

This looks like a very interesting project. I am keen to get the UAV module but it seems that Sparkfun is out of stock. Anyone know when they are likely to get more in stock?

I am keen to start work on a UAV and have been looking at the available options. Ardu seems to be a pretty cost-effective option.

    TIA

    Thanks Jeremy. Post updated.

I think 2500 should get you 20 minutes of low-throttle level flight, but 3700 would be safer.
  • I also had a quick question- does anyone have an estimate for flying time using the Superstar with upgrades and given battery? I was planning on building one, but with a 20 minuteish flying time; Just curious if that 2500mAh would cut it. No crazy acrobatics or anything, just flying straight pretty much.
  • Just wanted to note that the balancing charger listed is discontinued. New one is here.

I am using Arduino 14 for Mac OSX 10.4.11 works great. I had problems with Arduino 12 with new AP 2.0 but worked with AP 1.0

Alert, the version 2.0 is not working (at least for me) with arduino 14, only with arduino13
  • I've got the plane, I've got the Ardupilot... Now what? Where do I get started?

The Arducopter is not an off -the-shelf retail product.
