Now, the camera in the blog post from December has a higher resolution than this new Turnigy camera. Hobbyking mentions that too, but says (fwiw): Other similar cameras have software AVI formatting to 720x480px,reducing clarity of the 640x480 native image from the lense. While this
sounds good on paper, it makes the movie less clear and enjoyable.

I had not found the correct format to set date/time on my cameras (type #3) but found the correct format on the page you linked. As soon as I get my tandem together I'll post an example.
These photos are extracted from a movie.
@Curtiss Chiang: Are these stills or extracts from a movie?
i wonder why people always put a demo video with the yellow OSD, those are clearly videos from #3 version, wich upscale the image to 740x480, and hobbycity says clearly 640x480.
in my opinion version #3 is the best one, and it has the best audio quality, but i must wait for a sample video done with the model sold at HK...
no one got it? purchased from HK,

I didn't want to start a controversy here and I didn't track for marketing value. I am just interested to see how many people click this link. Believe it or not.
This site has changed, it used to be about the fun of learning and sharing but now it appears to be about making money much more. There is a lot less DIY here now, it is mostly about productising items and dollars, what a pity.
Why evil? The reason that I use an URL shortening service is that I want to track how many people click that link. I also posted this on my twitter (http://www.twitter.com/crashindutchman) and my blog (http://www.rc-international.info). From about 157 people that (currently) maybe 4 people bought the camera. Maybe I make a buck or 2...
