Flying in Death Valley with the Zephyr and a HobbyKing RadJet. (verbal permission from a ranger on site! normally R/C is banned in Death Valley be sure you get permission!). Death Valley is an amazing place for FPV. The salt flats and surrounding area are pretty challenging RF-wise. We managed to reach 5km, then the video link started to deteriorate. R/C was still within a reasonable safety margin but surprisingly weak too.

Amazing video out of a GoPro! (other than the Jello.)
Excellent video!
How come you didn't take the new plane out? Was it just the size, or is it still under development?
Awesome video! Could you provide the list of locations, please, in which you are planning to fly?
Nice drive by of Creech. Why didn't you buzz the tower or one of the GCS's?
yeah we were still pretty bummed especially since it worked back when we first tried it. but that's what you get for taking shortcuts ... we've done our homework this time :)
Its not too bad with de-focused matt, still great video,
Thanks for including the wildlife and punts. (crashes) They adds a lot to the quality.
No we noticed the Jello only halfway through the trip and I hate experimenting on the road. We're back and working on it right now, though :)
Maybe next time, so close too.
Bryce Canyon or Arches NP would be quite awesome.
Did you get rid of the jello effects on the Quad mount ?
no, the roadtrip is already done. we drove around in AZ, CA and UT.
Any locations planned for Colorado? Would like to meet up your crew.
