Ravi, I would love to be in a position to offer kits now but we currently only have the prototype. I am working on the second one with some improvements. Having a fuselage mould will help a lot, which is my current task. Also looking at ways to make the wing saddle quicker. All I can say is watch this space.
i'm now starting to use my plane for generation of mosaics, was thinking about a simplified gimbal, with about 20 degrees of freedom for each side on pitch and roll, just to keep the camera looking down. not sure if really needed, and its much more complex than just placing the camera down on the fuse, or even ataching it to the belly with rubber bands...
It gets a bit complicated with belts. The only reason for the one I have is because I want to use a standard (not quite) servo and use a (32/20 teeth) step up to get a large rotation.
Have just ordered a HS 5245 and programmer. This should then do 180deg and with the belt drive 288deg. Im trying to keep it all small.
Am wondering about a shell/cover for the whole lot – complicated moulding.

Hi Leo . very nice build , how do you build the fuselarge ? I thought of building a 4m wing version and can take payload of 5kg . Kindly advice thanks
Ken
Leo and Vince, could you develop a composite airframe, for my needs?
Please, PM with your contacts.
Thanks!

Thanks for your interest.

can someone let me know what is the sourcing for holden drone airframe. i mean form where can it be bought.
Hoping to make a start on a new fuselage plug and moulds. Easier to draw than to make, unless my enquiries about 3d printing work out.

Leo, how's the gimbal going?

Just love CAD
Interesting vids.
