Nick, go to their site. DIYDrones is not connected with them, so you're not going to get much info here.
Fab, I hadn't noticed, but I can mention it to Chris. We (moderators) have no control over that. This post is fixed. I save a smaller image and re-uploaded it.
Ellison. The same applies to the flash pictures at the top of the main diyd page. I suspect that some of those examples/photos are also very large. As a test I wrote an extension for IE that specifically blocked the flash control at the top of diydrones.com and the main page started to work at a great speed. It's worth suggesting to Chris that he reviews the size of those pictures. I think it might cause a number of people to avoid using diyd. If it's not the picture sizes then it's the flash control itself causing the slowness
It's always a good idea to optimize images when making posts. The images above are 3.5mb and 2.5mb which makes the entire drones site quite slow for some users. I hope you don't mind my pointing this out :)
I like the idea, and the hardware is not to costly, so using it should be cheap and easy, i have subscribed, lets see what happens, thanks for the post..!

Can someone give more info about the imp card?...what's inside...which ICs are used....etc?

Fab, +1. I was wonder why all of a sudden my computer ground to a halt.
Also don't like the subscription fee. We already pay too many monthly fees for this stuff.

A concern I would have with this product is the required monthly fee, but other than that it seems like a nice concept.
