This video is so good it needs it's own post, it was originally mentioned by Rob_Lefebvre in our previous discussion about the NYPD helicopter. I am from Virginia it surprises me that this person was detained shortly and only got a $70 fine in a national park.

This does seem wildly unnecessary. It makes me nervous that there will be a full scale crash one day due to some irresponsible helicopter pilot bumbling along and trying to dogfight with a drone like this that will get blamed on the drone operator.
Man these DJI units need an emergency system, "Oh shit police helicopter, land immediately autonomously, and transmit auditing data to TOR hidden site." Do police helicopters have TCAS?
Talk about police over-reaction... its a toy and they send in a full scale aircraft to battle it?
