    @Karl,

    Go over to RCG and see how many shops have their sites showcased and linked in the RCG header.

    @Chim Xotox,

    I should have used the word exposure in the place of advertising:-)

    Regards,

  • @ chim :whow, I never say that 3DR was a problem, I find it very good.
    @ gary : Really, this is not a showcase? Tell me how many other sites have linked their shop in the main menu?

  • A 3 kg copter to carry a tiny gopro-like camera and flight time only 18mins?? for almost 3000 USD?? seriously?

  • @Earthpatrol: LOL, I saw that too, it will be great for rearranging all the paperwork in someones's "paperless" office ... before it tries to fly out the closed window ...or takes off a few fingers.

    By the way folks, according to Google there are 78,900 instances of the term "DJI" on this site, so any attempts at "stifling" discussion would seem to be isolated efforts by an individual rather than anything systemic.

  • @Karl: The problem isn't 3DR - it's perhaps more a conflict of interest issue with a controlling individual.

    @Thomas: I wouldn't exactly call these three Inspire blogs "advertising" for DJI, since the predominance of comments are quite negative. So it's a plus for 3DR to have them here - it makes 3DR look good by comparison (which is correct, IMHO). Just saying...

    Bottom line: Inspire (horrible name choice) looks to me like an over- engineered overpriced klunker that was designed by X-Box gamers in some mom's basement.

  • The marketing collateral talks about indoor flight. So 13" props on a quad in an indoor setting with a product that relies heavily on GPS and/or optical flow control. Does anyone else find this irresponsible?

    @Karl,

    How is this website a "...showcase for 3DR." when we have three blog posts on the front page advertising the DJI Inspire and nowhere on the front page is a blog post for a 3DR product?

    The sUAS community is slowly headed towards RTF and RTO multicopters as the products and technology mature.

    Regards,

    TCIII AVD

  • The message of the admin demonstrates that this site is no longer a community, but a showcase for 3DR.
    This can be seen since a long time, but now, stop pretending!

    +1 for DJI

  • by the way Rob's idea was excellent for that matter

  • Let us not fight and DIY something better and more innovating than this ...
