I've been to Haiti 6 times volunteering for Partners In Health. Your 1 location, Bas Mornecabrit is "Goat Mountain" north east of Port Au Prince. Cange and the areas I visited were north of there but not as far north as your 2,3,4,5 locations. Cange is well uphill from the Peligre dam.
Lucky you got to go well after the highway rehab work had been done. My first trip took 3.5 hours to go 45 miles -- the roads (not really a road anymore then) were that bad.
