That will be very cool. Just for reference, look at the pics of my Sky Fly Max, it is just a hair under 9 cm at it's widest point (outside dimentions). This sucker is going to be a big ol' blimp, w/tons of luggage room... Part that always gets me about HobbyKing is the shipping.
  • Hobbyking has put the following text in the product description:

Note: Production plane will have a wingspan of 1.82m and fuselage internal width increased to a total of 9cm width. Photos will be updated upon arrival.

I guess that will make this plane more suitable for the gear we want to put into it.

I think you are better off piecing together a Sky Fly Max (below), but if you could get the main wing as a spare part, I think it would work great on the Sky Fly Max fuse.

With this motor you can make your bathtub UAV
  • What the heck is this?FPV gone wild...Crazydutchman you are more crazy than dutch
  • Hello, someone has set the little interior space that has this plane?
If things are not mine, but I think that this airplane has skywalker quality or space, I think the skywalker is the ideal platform for a UAV, just a little more size would be good but not so soon after the EasyStar and sales success, the skywalker.

Sounds fine to me... the more hobby news the better!
  • I don't mind sharing... if you want I can let you know my salary too.

I have been posting affiliate links since about a year now (I think). Most of them on my own blog (which can be very time consuming) and when a product shows up that can be relevant for DIYdrones, I also post here. Those links generated probably a little more than 100 dollars. That is also pretty much what I spent on hobby parts in the same period since my salary - cost of living unfortunately doesn't leave much to spend on the hobby.

Today I made a pre-order for this plane, only because I crashed the plane that I used for FPV until recently.

I am not Hobbyking, but I make use of their affiliate program which is open to all their customers.

Actually, I had always assume Crash was HobbyKing!
  • I'm just curious, out your 12 blog posts on DIYDrones, 11 of them contain affiliate links. How much have you made so far from these affiliate links, if you don't mind sharing?
