Just found this on the Hobbyking website: FPV Transmitter & Video Camera 1/3-inch CCDcamera for US$ 39.17

    @opticalflow: the camera you speak of, is it coming with transmitter and, if yes, is the price still comparable?

    Not talking from personal experience the general consensus on the rcgroups FPV forum seems to be that it is not a good idea to use 2.4 GHz video alongside 2.4 GHz RC. It appears to work but not reliably, especially with increasing range.

    A camera that looks the same and has the same specs has been available on ebay for $25 incl. shipping for a while now. Also, this is not the only cheap 2.4 GHz TX. Have a look on the FPV forum on rcgroups for alternatives and you see that there are several options in this price range.

    Thats an amazing price!

    More than $ 100 bucks cheaper than most.

    I would wait for more feedback from users before trusting it with an FPV plane!!

    @Xander: Please not that I have not tested/verified the following receiver to work with the product discussed here. You will have to contact both RangeVideo and Hobbyking to be sure it works.

    @Tedro: If your Blade SR can lift some extra weight (8 gram for transmitter, not sure about camera - is not in specifications) it would probably work. Let's say that camera weigth 50 gram, can your Blade carry an extra 60-100 gram?

    On the PC (or TV) side you would need a video receiver that works at 2.4Ghz (HK says'Compatible with most 2.4Ghz video receiver systems' in the description of the product). In addition, if you want to display the picture on a PC, you would need something to grab video, something like this: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5707

    Can someone help the newb with a few questions... 1) Will I be able to hook this up to my Blade SR? and 2) What is needed on the PC side to view the live video feed?
