Hi Everyone. Above is an intro video to the minimosd. It still needs a tiny bit of tailoring but I figured I would send it out to the community for review. A video series like this could be beneficial for our community to grow in the future. Open to adding on a distributor logo for some help supporting my own hobby/builds.

Of course the video is open to criticism and input. They are compiled from scratch in Adobe After Effects/Premiere.

Hmmm... I had the same problem with the audio here.

Anyone know what the difference is between the MinimOSD here and the jDrones MiniOSD that is coming out? It looks like it's basically the input voltage as the regulator is different but I wanted to make sure before I bought one.

Great video.  +1 regarding audio gain.  It would be sweet if the next APM version had an OSD built in! :)

Cool vid Andrew, thanks for the trouble. I have just installed mine, and it works great. Had a Remzibi, which was good for the interim, but the extra info (like flight mode) it gets directly from the APM, and the fact I don't need the extra weight of a second GPS receiver makes it awesome. Confused why, though, in Mission Planner I can set the attopilot to give me the correct voltage, but through minimOSD it doubles it. Any ideas?

cheers all!

Bugger, it DID work great until I upgraded the firmware, and the charset. Shows up on the config program, but won't overlay on the video anymore.....

Any ideas anyone?

Although the MiniOSD received, I have a big goal worries, after having plugged in, I'm transmitting my video but no osd display. occasionally I have a desktop completely bleached. When I support the reset button I have a black screen, then he returns to the video but I did not display the OSD. I updated the firmware and I have changed the layout of the OSD without problem. I have verified several times, the cabling or other but no worries. FYI, I feed my camera directly to 12v, bypassing the MiniOSD.

@Owen, @f5pql69: the first question is: Are the two stages powered? (two solid LEDs ON on the opposite edges).
If yes, I recommend you to check your MinimOSD at table first, connected directly to a proper video monitor.

Whit it NOT connected to APM neither a Camera (just powered and attached to a monitor) you should see a blank background with ArduCAM Logo and its Version followed by a message "Waiting for MAVLink heartbeats..."

If you see it, power it off, attach a Camera to the "Video IN" and turn it on again. You should see the same thing but this time overlaying the image from your camera.

Please, let me know how it goes.
