We're also offering APM 2.5+ kits with the 3DR telemetry pack, in both 915Mhz (US) and 433Mhz (Europe) versions, and both side-pin and top-pin varieties.

- APM 2.5+ (side entry) w/ 915Mhz 3DR radio set
- APM 2.5+ (top entry) w/ 433Mhz 3DR radio set
- APM 2.5+ (side entry) w/ 433Mhz 3DR radio set
In addition, we're having an End of Year sale of Ready-to-Fly ArduCopters and Arduplanes. You can take $50 off the already-discounted holiday prices of any RTF vehicle by using the discount code RTF05. That brings their prices down to:
RTF 3DR ArduPlane ($500)
RTF 3DR ArduCopter Quad ($550)
RTF 3DR ArduCopter Hexa ($715)
Finally, check out some of the other sale items at the 3DR store, including $15 off the MinimOSD board and a new lower price for the PX4 AR.Drone replacement kit, which allows you to turn your Parrot AR.Drone into a real drone!

Alex: Do you have an Amateur Radio License?
Can I use the 433 3DR in the US? I have Turnigy Radio 2.4 ghz and 900 mhz video?
This would be easier than purchasing 5.8ghz video and 900 mhz 3DR. Since I already have Video.
Hi Chris,
Great to hear about the APM 2.5+. I'm a new comer to the hobby and very excited about purchasing this bit of kit.
I know that they're only beginning to ship next week due to the holidays. If I select over night or some sort of expedited shipping, would it be possible to receive it before the 14th? The only reason I ask is because I'm traveling between coasts right now and it'll be difficult to get the APM at one place after the 14th.

Would be good with an 868mhz or similar, i´m using 433 mhz for radio control and live in a country with cellphones on the 900 mhz band.
I remember reading somw old post that it might be possible to run the 915 version on 868?
Rashad: Thanks for the good question. I've edited the product listings to make that more clear.
Bob: yes, you can use both straight and side pins for copters (I use both) but some people feel that the wires look more neat with side pins.
You can email sales@3drobotics.com with your order number and ask them to change your order to side pins. They won't be shipping out until mid-next week anyway due to the holidays.
Of course I just bought the straight pin APM for my 3DR quad an hour before this! Do the straight pin fit on the quad well when its fully connected?
Thats great news that you are offering the side entry kits ready assembled!
@ Rashed, Yes, the main differance between the two is to allow people to use them in europe, most of Europe you can use the 433Mhz Telemetry Kit and not the 915Mhz.
what is the different between 915Mhz and 433Mhz? Europe and US restrictions?
3DR better than zigbee?
