  • I have recently become the US Agent for these sensors and my demonstrator CM100 arrives in January.  There are multiple options for the internal cameras for the CM100, both ITAR controlled and ITAR free. These are professional grade equipment, but very cost effective when compared to the competition.  The software and full Ethernet control make deployment options very flexible.

  • Is ITAR an issue? UAVVision seems to be Australian judging by their address. I thought ITAR relates to the export of US product from the US.

  • This looks great, but I'm terrified to ask the price...

  • I think you might be correct. The low rate ones are export controlled by country and the high rate ones probably require an end user certificate or some such. At any rate: If I have to ask about the price, I probably can't afford it.

  • The only way to avoid ITAR with IR is frame rate, afaik. There is no "getting around" ITAR - "Getting around ITAR" is generally bankruptcy or jail time territory :-)

  • I imagine this will be out of reach for most people?
