Ken the weights are:

Quadcopter: Less than 650g

Hexacopter: Less than 850g

Octocopter: Less than 1150g

CF rust is a myth. I don't know who started it, but it's kinda ridiculous when you consider what CF is made of (epoxy and carbon threads).

@iw28: I have the Turnigy talon frame. It's a great frame, I absolutely love it, but this frame is a lot more ideal in the long run. The larger diameter arms make a really big difference, and attempting to put tall landing gear, or all your equipment for that matter, on the talon is like trying to put the contents of a house into a Prius.

The one from Hobbyking has smaller diameter arms, do not have any damper system to reduce the vibrations, It's heavier because uses aluminum parts, the landing gears are very small, it appears not having space inside the frame for the ESCs and don't have any battery mounts.

Hmm I am sorry but it is a bit to expensive for me, especially because I am a DIY-guy. But what is the difference between the one you offer and the one from Hobbyking ?

Yes, It should be applied correctly using a press.

Lol - yeah Gary. I just wondered - I'd avoided using them because of the crushing issue, and that once in place, they're nearly permanent. I'm seeing more and more people using them, and I've got them on my X8 (quadframe), and - if installed correctly - work great. Maybe I've just been doing it wrong all this time...:-)

Yes, the airframes are suitable for APM and pixhawk, as well other autopilots out there.
