OCTOV travelling stability with 2.0.42

So today i tried to make a movie with the GoPro and the OCTOV platform and it seems to be stable.

Next step is to put caoutchouc under the motors to absorb more vibration.

This Plateform is really dedicaded for movie !! enjoy Guys !!

    All branch are 1 meter long. Don't care about the CG ! if you respect the DIY Drawing.

    Cool. I am building one. What were your measurements ? 

    My arms going to be a meter long. Where did you balance the CG ? I was thinking it should be on the centerline and middle of the arms ?

    The code take into account this 14 degrees but i'm sure you can change it !

    Thats cool. There is something I have always been puzzled about, is that the arms on OctaV are 14 degrees off to each side. Now what is the thing with this particular angle ? Why not 10 or 20 degrees ?

    There must be a reason / calculation behind this, and that is what I am after.
