Just thought I'd share
Pixracer (Xracer) Autopilot V1.0 FMU V4 Generation
AUD $135
Now I'd like to know if this is a clone, or the real thing from AUAV?

A little offtopic Chuck: one day I try to help someone with His copter issues proposing a solution and the man responds to angry that I have to say moderators to erase the answer :O , I never know what this man understand LOL.
No problem, thank's for ask, to clarificate well; yes I spend lot of time fighting against vibes, altitude hold etc. , so, I thougth that I'm going to have more difficults to make this little racer to work, I'm only have problems with autotune, don't work correctly but, perhaps, something in my setup or manual tunning made the issue but It's new build, I'm not discover yet.
Sometimes its difficult to determine what others mean online. Your English is fine.
We've only just begun testing, its good to hear about the PixRacers altitude hold. That's a big problem for the PixHawk.
NO.
Sorry my horrible english; I try to say that it has good price for the good quality, no significant difference with clones, I bought an AUAV one and I'm very happy, no more vibrations problem, two int compass on a little quad and no issues with them, baro looks like a laser altimeter, I'm thinking to buy one for my long endurance quad, ligthweight too, and the power board looks nice too, next opportunity I buy PB for my other quads too.
Not sure I understand your point. Are you saying the PixRacer is overpriced?
The PixRacer was designed using the "next generation" processor, which I understand is four times faster than an overclocked NAZE32.
Is it four times better? Maybe not today but it has the bandwidth to be.
I agree, specially when price is not abusive like Pixracer and develop is much noticeable, nice perform.
Scott, consider that lives a lot of people in China, shure are not all the same.
@Scott W - while I think what you're trying to say may well have a reasonable point, outright racism isn't the way to put it across.
It depends on when you took Business 101. Because when I took it, it wasn't about making things the cheapest, it was about adding the most value. Another phrase that came out of Business 101 was "You get what you pay for."
Cloning is for hobbyists, value products are for the commercial market. So it depends why you want the product. It depends on the market AUAV want to make money in?
The commercial and hobby markets are not mutually exclusive of one another but they are antithetical. Plus I think 3DR made a pretty good argument that the DIY market is no market at all.
Hi Kim,
You can freely place your order at auav.co and we can deliver it to any point of the world.
