Found by Gary Mortimer over at the AttoPilot user forum: a fiberglass model kit of the ScanEagle UAV. Unfortunately, the supplier is out of stock. More info and pics in this RC Groups thread. Before you get your hopes up, note the speculation there that Boeing (owner of the real ScanEagle) may have put the kibosh on this unauthorized reproduction.

Can't really see how Boeing going to shut down production of the a/c its fuselarge is completely different to the real bird. But using there name could cause some problems

Thanks for the mention Chris ;-) My wing cutting friend does keep reminding me that its a piece of drainpipe with some wings on it !!

I bet theres enough people interested in it to start a production run.

Yea, but it's the coolest looking drainpipe I've ever seen!

it looks so easy to build. I could knock it up in my composite bay in an afternoon by the looks of it.....

First one to recover it like the real Scan Eagle without ripping it to bits wins a prize....

I wonder how hard it is to fly the Scan Eagle since it appears to really be a flying wing with ailerons only?

Just a thought.
