  • Very nice! There's few similar designs now. EvvGC, VRBrain and this one for example. Wondering which has the best future with the firmware. Is there too big differencies between hardware for "cross" porting firmwares and GUIs?

  • yeah they send them out with orders, or at least all mine came with one so far

  • Different subject, but where did you get the sweet OSHpark sticker?  Did it come with an order from them?

  • OH man that looks great!  Would love to get my hands on one! hint hint ;)  lol, will read up on the rcg thread.

Also, I have some of those motors (I think), the ps2 disc drive motors?  I couldn't figure out how to remove it from the pcb it was mounted to..??  Is there a trick to it?

  • So far its in testing right now with a couple others and myself to see if any improvements need to be done

I have messaged Olli W to post here to fill in the blanks so I don't give out wrong info by any misunderstanding I may have on the initial development

as far as I understand its Olli W's firmware and the board design was in conjunction with Martinez

So a port of martinez to the STM32 chip?  That's a really good idea because I think the AVR328 was running out of space (and possibly CPU power).  The VRBrain guys have done something similar.

I think for ArduCopter3.2 we will have more complete brushless gimbal support.  Until then I'm just starting on building some wiki pages for the Tarot (which is closed source) but soon I'll add a page for the VRBrain and Martinez (which are open source of course).  If it's an open source product I'm happy to add links to the wiki to tell people where to get them just PM me.
