I also like to know the current consumption ?
Does it have any effect to battery balance? I'm quessing the current from balancer pins is very small like micro amps, but is it equal between pins?

"I use "nyloc" nuts and without threadlock of course. I'm also changing nuts to new after 4-5 times opening. This habit comes from working with fullsize airplanes and copters....

Double check your wiring, specially APM Output - ESC . I tried to look from picture, but can't say for sure if those are right. 3-wire cable from esc to APM should be in order:
-brown is ground and it should be on "bottom"

"Actually with UBlox it's PDOP we see in MissionPlanner and logs etc. Not sure why it is called hdop because it is not. See this issue:

I found one a small problem. If using Custom maps in MP Flight Plan window, GridUI window can't find those map tiles? After in-out zooming it finds Google satellite, but not custom tiles....

Have you tried to connect one esc at the time directly to the receiver? Will it arm then? This will show if it is APM related problem or not.

Do we actually need to have APM TX wire connected to gps? Simple solution to prevent APM overwriting gps setup is to disconnect tx pin, if we can use gps only in "listen" mode.
