  • TCIII,

I'll admit it was almost brisk (I'm sorry to rub it in). On the other hand, the breeze does turn into an aileron-fluttering wind sometimes. In fact, we spent the first part of the day picking up garbage that had been blown across or flying site from an overturned trash can.

I don't want to think about what those wadded up paper-towels and tissues had been used for...

    :-/

  • Okay, not only did I have an English problem in the above post, I didn't complete my thoughts.  We stuck the wireless router on my Quad and flew it and provided WiFi access to the park - sorta (there is a caveat that I am too ashamed to admit)

  • We did a flyday at Aerohive today.  We stuck an wireless router (we are a wireless company) and did a VPN over 4G back to HQ.  I'll do a post about it.  got to hang out with our VP sales (former RAF Pilot) who thinks the geeky stuff I do is cool.

I assume that you good 'ol boys were flying on the east side of the bay where you had a nice cool ocean breeze while I was out testing the ArduRover2 v2.41 firmware in 90 degree temperatures here in Ft. Lauderdale. I live about 12 miles from the nearest beach and a cool breeze does not come up until late afternoon, long after I have finished testing.

    Regards,

  • Serious looks over.  Now release your source code to DJI.

  • I love this, I took my staff outside today for the new official Friday Flyday :P

looked like a very similar shot except one person was on the ground with the FPV goggles rocking left and right like Andy with the controller and someone else was flying. Even got to do a little recon of the AC guys fixing the handlers on the roof. What a great hobby!

  • looking at the pic what if you had a device on the back of the tx that worked by how you held the tx, in through the trainer port just a thought ;)

  • I hope I can move out to California sometime soon and work at the 3DR facility!  Anyone who works with 3DR already knows that this is the most awesomest job ever! :)

I did not crash, so I'll call that a victory.

Ah transmitter left, aircraft left ;-) I like the Friday Flyday idea perhaps it ought to be community wide.
