Good argument to push development of high video quality delivered by small and light copters but also a reminder to be sensible and not to fly over people!
He wasn't even supposed to fly there - he had a dedicated (safe) corridor which he ignored after a few runs
A copter that's filming isn't going to be high enough for a parachute to make any difference at all. A cable cam might be a better way to get such footage.

I have contacted FIS Switzerland to get technical information on the drone flown.
You are welcome to join Peer To Drone Accident Investigation Project (limited to small drones) to ivestigate that drone accident on-line and in public.
My bet is he's flying DJI and the IMU failed....

I'm sure this is only the beginning of these types of videos. Glad no one was hurt. Interested to hear the backstory/details about what happened from the UAV system point of view.
