Became hooked on these contraptions end of last year. Built 3 different multirotors to date, not counting all the rebuilds. Two destoyed while experimenting with PID's to fine tune waypoint flying with unusual configurations. The 3rd one flew away and is MIA. I'm considering a tethered one next.
Graham that wing was something to see, got get one ASAP !!
Had a great morning in Northcliff, JHB, chatting and flying quads with a couple guys, Johann and Louis. Johann, that Hexa looks great! Test flew a large well-flown wing of mine with APM1 - not bad at all with the default PID's, much better than the old ArduPilot Legacy & Thermopiles (later with ArduIMU). Had 250+ flights with the old "APL" testing and trying to get it right...
John in CT - Somerset West end. Have a few ACs, a few MKs, an FY91, a Hoverfly and some foamies. A bit of an addict I guess!

Hi Graham.
Cape Town :)
Where are you located, Nicolas?
Excited to see so much happening locally. Flown 3D helicopters for about 5 years (various Align trexs). Just finished building my quad yesterday and waiting for clear weather to maiden :)
