"I have put 2 200A Mauch units with a Mauch hub. Wired up a splitter with spark proof connections to connect 2 batteries when needed. Our drone program is temperarly on hold while pilots are busy with some helicopter work. I flew the S1000 a couple…"

HiI have always had a power module between battery and power distribution. Is that a good idea on an S1000 or should the power module be connected to the PDB just for the pixhawk? I guess the ability to measure current is going to be the only issue…

"Another question, I said backup power from receiver but I'm thinking this applies only to Pixhawk Mini. Regular Pixhawk backup power would go to servo rail.

Is that correct?"

HiI am putting an S1000 together with Pixhawk. On my Hex I'm using 200A Mauch but I'm unsure about the current draw on the S1000+ with 20,000 mah battery and possibly 2 20,000 mah batteries. If I go with 2 batteries I should probably have one power…

David C Phillips replied to David C Phillips's discussion Wobble with 4s battery
"Hi

I have esc that should be designed for 4s e310 system.

I was hoping to get it tuned for 4s and still be able to use 3s, but I might just go…"

HiIs it possible to switch between 3s and 4s batteries without tuning?I have a 550 tuned with 3s 5000 and when I try to run 4s 5000 it wobbles really bad. I guess if I tune it to 4s the 3s would work okay. I was thinking I could save the parameters…
