My DIY Y6 using ACM 2.0.40 beta

I made two flight videos, the first was flying with default PIDs, the second I tried to reduce the oscillation after 3 tuning tries.

From your experiences, do you think this is good enough? or I might be trying to elimilate the vibration as much as possible from tweaking these PIDs again, but is it possible to do auto tuning or auto calibration via a smart coding to get a Pitch Roll Yaw balancing without oscillating or sluggish reflections ?

My ACM2 Hexicopter X first fly test

3689415802?profile=original

This is the first fly test of my first Hexicopter X build.
I use ACM2.0.33 code with the defaut PIDs setting.
It seems roll and pitch PIDs are overshot to it.
RTL heading angle is about too sharp either.
Each arm length is 30 cm (60 cm axis to axis).
Will try to fine tune PIDs to make it better.
My 50cm arm length Tricopter can fly well w/o modifying default PIDs.
So I personally like Tricopter better, easier build and not much tuning.
But this hexi can fly about 10 minutes and gives me a chace to try PIDs tuning.

ACM2.0.33 night flight & day FPV video

This night flight video looks clear enough for my FPV night flight next time.

Day FPV flight with ACM2 tri, like I owned a easy to drive private helicopter for air traveling.

Especially the RTL function consolidate the FPV flight safety when wireless video or RC control was lost.

I set the altitude to 18 - 28 meters high but it went to near 100 meters high,

I was a little nervous since I almost can't recognize how it's flying.

All I can do is trust ACM2, I have both sonar and compass on it.

I felt the throttle control response in ALT_HOLD mode is not sensitive enough.

I used the latest ACM2 code which was downloaded today.

Logs and config files are attached FYR.
