Auto trim seems not to be working on my quad

hi everybody....

problem is that my quad running an apm 2.5 with 2.9.1 software .

i am trying to setup the autotrim .  I trim it so flying nicely ,land and switch

the channel 7 switch for 4-5 seconds on my DX8 then  center the trims , then take off but its along

way out of trim again . But not to the past settings ..

Any ideas  please ...

p.s i have set up the channel 7 in mission planner to save trim

    I think there was a bug in 2.9.0 or 2.9.1 where instead of trimming, it added to the error. The more you try to trim the worse it got. Can't remember which version but it might be worth looking for in the official issues list.

    Ya the high setting is on and low is off. It worked for me when I did my Quad. The wind here lately has been to much to attempt trim.

    A couple things to consider. Make sure you fly on a reality calm day. A lot of wind makes is almost impossible to trim. Also make sure your switch 7 is in the right position and you're not starting with on and then landing and turning it off.
