I forgot got to say that I use a Spektrum DM8 transmitter module. With the 9c set to PPM, an Orange micro, and S-BUS/Bind output it appears to correctly do a radio calibration but trying to liftoff the quad acts strangely.
i will consider whether to buy the FrSky or just bite the bullet and go for the tx/rx combinaction.
thanks for you information about the FrSky module. Hadn’t noticed that..
If you are still using the original Tx module and receiver and a PPM encoder then you may well be having problems.
I still use my faithfull T9C and T9C super but have fitted a FRSky 2.4 Tx module and a D4R-II receiver using ppsum, and these work with my PX4 and Pixhawk1.
I also use a Hobbyking Orange LRS tx module and receiver with ppsum with no issues, also good value for money.
