I am new to pixhawk. Please let me know what is the major difference between between pixhawk 2.1 and pixhawk 2.4.8 on the basis of performence . I know there is redundancy in pixhawk 2.1 as it has more Gyros/accelros etc.

Could you please let me know if i need to compare the performance of these two Pixhawks. Which parameters do i need to focus on ?

The Pixhawk numbering is confusing, because it's open source and the Chinese manufacturers invent their own numbering schemes and don't respect the trademark. But you can think of Pixhawk 2.4.8 as basic Pixhawk. Pixhawk 2.1 is an improved official version. And Pixhawk 3 is the most recent official version.
