Hello everyone,I know that large, heavy lift quadcopter might be a nitch in this community but I see that there are several here building these.From all that I have read and experienced when building them with low kv, large motors there are some problems to overcome. I have personally used the U8 Tiger Motor 170kv. The problems I have observed are the following.High vibrationMotor/ESC stallsInstability in loiter, Position holdI have been looking at the KDE7208XF-135. I am wondering if there are any others using them that can offer any positive comments or findings using them.If not the KDE motors what other options are there for this application.ThanksWill

I use castle creation 50A esc's. I have yet to pull the log information from the esc's. Right before the quad flipped I heard a distinct sound of signal sync stall. T u is I a sound I've heard on YouTube when people tested different esc's with the U8 T-motors.

My be choice of ESC are not the best Castle ESC has had lots of issues please search on the forum you will see. Over kill known to work well Hobbywing Platinum 100A PRO ESC 2-12 cells lithium battery

yes your High Vibration cause by your frame! It's not stiff enough your arms are flexing too much.
to fix you need larger tubes 30mm + or 30mm + rectangular or square tube carbon fiber large motor mount clamps to go with.
what you mean motor ESC stall? what type of ESC are you using?
