Hi everyone,
I am quite new to DIY Drones. I saw several forums to find out a way to install Mission Planner on Ubuntu 12.10 without any success. The APM website (http://plane.ardupilot.com/wiki/common-install-mission-planner/) suggests it could be installed in Windows. However, it doesn't mention whether we could use in Linux platforms. Please help if anyone of you have installed it on Linux.
Many Thanks,
Aakash

Hello,
For the one who came here, the answer is :
- For the "old" Mission Planner : http://www.diydrones.com/forum/topics/mission-planner-1-2-50-on-ubu... It seems quite difficult now for the last version, so take this one from June 2013 http://ardupilot-mega.googlecode.com/files/MissionPlanner-1.2.55.zip
- For the new APM Planner 2.0 : http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/apm-planner-2-0-rc2-on-raspberr... This methode is easy but take time because you have to compile it first. After it works realy fast compare to Mission Planner.
Hope it will help someone else
