Just finished building my first quad. I custom built the frame with 1/8" ply, 3/4" square alum tube, and a glad ware container. It hovers very nice and smooth. BP18A ESC's, BP2217-9 motors, 10x4.7 props, 2x 3s1p 2100mah packs, custom power distribution board.

very nice job. I'm interested to know how 2 X 3S1P packs worked for you in relation to flight times. Where you running the motors well above half throttle to hover with the extra weight?

they broke because of flying just 3/4 of a complete loop ;)

The legs look a bit long/springy to me. Have you tried shorting then to just an inch or so?
