A "Mission" is a set of waypoints linked by segments.
You have the possibility to register these waypoints while flying (3D position) then edit them on ground with your GCS software or perform a direct replay by entering "Auto" mode at the end of your recording session.
You just have to read the relevant chapter of the documentation and assign switches on your R/C transmitter to do that.
