What's up with the DIYDrones store?

Hi guys,

Do you know what is up with the diydrones store? Do they have a backlog or something? I ordered a full Quad-c kits from them with Moses, APM, and everything a week ago. The expected processing time was 2-3 days, but my order is still processing. I e-mailed them to ask for an expected shipping date, but they just told me that my order was processing, which I already knew. What's the point of choosing the more expensive shipping option to get it quickly if they expect to sit on the order of several weeks before it ships?

    I can tell you that they are working hard!  lots of orders and demand I would guess.  Even as a distributor I do not get in front of the line when there is backlogs.  I had to wait an additional week to get my APMs batch but they are on their way now!  :) 

    Even at a way smaller scale here in CanadaDrones.com I am swarmed by orders and this introduces delays.  I guess it's all for the best as it means a lot of new customers.  

    Hope you all get your orders fast enough, remember that they are working hard on it (or on a secret new thing!)

    The APM is back ordered. But, it did say mine would ship the 9th but is shipped 5 days earlier, got it yesterday.

    Thanks for your feedback, guys. My order from the ship yesterday and it should be arriving in the middle of next week. Now I only need to figure out how to mount a small basket underneath to carry and drop Lego paratroopers :-)

    Had to order the props through clubheli.com last night and they we're shipped today. My 3dr order was taking way too long to ship. I think we have become used to the standard of fast shipping with all the online retailers. Anything over three days to ship is way too long.

    @Frank,

    I placed a small connector order on Friday and it was delivered yesterday. I live in FL so that is pretty fast shipping.

    I also have issues with getting orders out in a timely manner. Not sure what's the hold up with processing orders.

    I had the same problem. I ordered some props and miscellaneous screws/spacers a week ago and they haven't shipped yet. When I bought the apm and quad frame it took over two weeks to ship but it was in december and was the holiday rush. Not sure what's holding things now.
