ESC BEC Seems not enough power to APM2 Arduplane

hi,

i use APM2 and Arduplane 2.4,

i am powering APM2 using ESC / BEC .

my problem is, when powering the apm2, all servo works, only motor silent even throtle up, i check on minimOSD and throtle percent % showed up,

BUT when i play around the bec/esc servo wire that conected to apm2 "ch 3" , the motor "made songs" and start to works.

so i need to "plug and unplug" many times to make motor "make songs" and works.

i tested direct chanel 3 on rx its was OK. but only chanel 3 on APM2 the problem come.

is it because  esc bec not enough power to supply APM2?

whats goes wrong here?

    To get my ESC to arm I have to:

    A) plug in the main flight battery (APM2 will arm but not the ESC/motor)- I'm powering the APM2 board with the built in BEC from the ESC (3A switching)

    B) attach the USB cable between the APM2 and my laptop

    C) click connect on my mission planner software

    After that the ESC/motor will do the beeping/song letting me know that the plane is ready to fly.  If I just plug in the main flight battery the throttle/motor will not arm.  I'm not sure if that's the proper procedure but that's the only way I can get the ESC/throttle/motor to arm.

    yes, seem to be same fault as i was.

    but the motor/esc works when i plugging, and unplugging (ch 3 APM2) esc wire for several times.

    throtle channel is not reversed because motor spin correctly after do plugging, and unplugging (ch 3 APM2) the esc wire for several times.

    Maybe throttle channel is reversed?

    Hi,

    I have just got my APM2 board wired up and testing operation with version 2.40 software.

    When I plug the bec/esc cable into Channel 3 it powers the the board and other servo channels  but the ESC is not starting up and the motor will not rotate.   Putting a servo directly into the Receiver channel 3 it works OK,   Plugging the ESC directly into the Receiver socket the ESC works normally.

    This whole setup worked in my  APM1 board perfectly.     Seem to be same fault as you are seeing??

    The "making songs" is the ESC telling you things. Usually it tells you it's settings, but some times it's telling you it's I'm programming mode.
    It seems like the APM2 isn't sending the throttle commands to the ESC that you are expecting. If playing with the ch3 wire from the receiver has an effect, maybe that wire isn't making a solid connection?
    My ESC beeps repeatedly if I power it up with my throttle not idle, is yours doing something similar? Double check everything for incorrect wiring or loose connections.
