power to the receiver?

Forgive me, but I'm a newby. I have everything hooked up, and getting no radio input signal to the APM. Realized I have no power to the receiver so it doesn't show the bind light. How should it get power?

I like the Castle 10A BEC unit as it appears to be fairly quiet and has plenty of power on reserve for radio, servos or other accessories..

Are you using 3dr power module with APM?

The receiver gets it power from the Inputs Channels. When you connect a servo cable for Input 1 it also connects the power. If using the copter setup you can connect a 2 pin cable black red between the inputs to the RC.
