Payload for 3DR ArduCopter Hexa-B Frame + Motors + Full Flight Electronics Kit

I purchased this kit with the larger motor/prop sizes. Does anyone know what the payload is?

The goal is to attach telemetry as well as my canon 60D and video tx. Will I need arm adjustments and motor upgrades to achieve this?

You probably can lift 3kg. But more importantly is how long can you fly? My hex weighs in @2kg and with 3S 5000mAh battery I can fly 11 minutes. Double the battery and I get @ 16 minutes of flight.

I have crashed and rebuilt my hex 3 times. Not counting props and landing legs. LOL.

I also love it and its a blast.

Stick with 3S battery, the basic firmware is set to 3S battery. Also 500Ah give good flight time for the weight. Also get a battery with at least 30C rating.

If you bought the >$150 camera support from them, you'll be very disapointed. In hobbyking you'll find much better for $15. And your Canon 60D wont fit there for sure.
