Hello Folks,
While flying in Stabilize mode, I got too close to the ground and crashed …….bummer!
I was happy to see that it was not very damaged but it did fracture one of the long landing legs and broke some of the Nylon standoffs and screws. Does anyone know if someone if someone in the USA (preferably on the West Coast) makes replacement long landing legs for the 3DR products? These are the long legs that are designed to work with the 3DR single axis gimbal. Where can you get the nylon screws and standoffs? I was thinking that I could probably get them from McMaster Carr.
Thanks,
Dale

Pool noodles are sounding like an alternative, does 3DR ever have the landing legs in stock?
Hello Folks,
Where does one get the 3D designs?
Thanks for the suggestions. Does the community have any good ideas on who does good laser cutting of carbon sheet?
Thanks,
Dale
correct, you can.
think about pool noodles. cheap, far lighter, come in fun colors, and bond to the McMaster Carr nylon standoffs (92745A320) using hot glue. Point the threads up and they screw right into the motor mounts on come copters.
RTL Fasteners makes great hobby hardware available in small packaging.

I think 3DR gives the 3D design of these legs. You can use a shop that has a laser cutter to make these legs easily, may cost a few dollars.
+ You can get the light screws/ nuts in a 1 dollar shop, I guess!
