verify height

hi,

Tonight i want to test verify height on a mission. I wanted the quad to fly at 10 metres altitude so i first set this to the default altitude in the mission planner and also enabled verify altitude. Then i added 3 waypoints by clicking on the map. The altitude entered was about 60 metres so i assumed i was 50 metres above sea level. Anyway i flew the mission and the quad was well above 10 metres high.

What did i do wrong and what is the fix?

    All mission waypoints in APM:copter are above ground level

    Where ever you arm your copter sets the altitude to 0.

    Not too sure what you did, but I always check the altitude graphic in Mission Planner.

    Right click, Map Tools, Elevation graph.
